Information about Medical Fees

Tulare-Kings Emergency Service is not a part of any other veterinary facility. Because of that, and so that we can continue to provide you with high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we require that payment be made at the time services are rendered.

We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations, and you are encouraged to discuss treatment options and the fees for each option with the staff.

A deposit is required on all pets left for hospital care.

TKVES accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. We do not extend credit or provide payment plans, however, we do utilize CareCredit, Citi Health Card, and other major credit cards for those that are interested in extended payment options.  Please see the additional information below for more details. 


When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.  Tulare-Kings Veterinary Emergency Services understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program or the Citi Health Card program. Applying is quick and easy, and will allow you to break down your payment into monthly installments.  You can either apply at our hospital, where we'll call in your application over the phone for immediate approval, or apply yourself online by clicking one of the icons above.
